ACCOUNTANT

The Role:
Joining the team of a European business leader you will be able to add your personal value by:

• In charge of the General Ledger
• Being responsible for the accurate, complete and timely maintenance of the General Ledger and the preparation of financial reporting required
• In charge of the accounting for General Ledger in conformity with the corporate capitalization policy
• Taking care of statutory accounting
• Ensuring the accurate, timely and complete processing of journals and reconciliation of accounts assigned
• Delivering accurate information for financial, tax and statutory reporting purposes
• Providing support to the Team Leader on the accounting and financial reporting processes
• Ensure adherence with the monthly and yearly accounting reporting cycles, as well as to the corporate accounting policies and IFRS

The Person:
Talented, self-confident and enthusiastic professional with:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a General Ledger accounting role
• Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another business-related field, Master’s degree in Accounting or related fields would be considered an advantage
• Very good command of English, both written and verbal
• Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of SAP would be considered an advantage
• Strong interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills
